Hong Kong Opens its Doors to Social Entrepreneurs

Hong Kong is one of those places that combines all the fundamentals for social enterprise. It comprises of a global financial hub, a highly educated and innovative population, and sufficient government and business support geared to address a myriad of social problems.

With these groups and individuals becoming increasingly active in the sector, company founder Sindy Chow of Happy Grannies tells that “corporate social responsibility is becoming more important for some of the biggest corporations in Hong Kong.” This can be perceived as an invitation for social enterprises to invest in the area.
