Tata Social Enterprise Conference Renders Guidance, Advice to Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The Tata Social Enterprise Conference is a one-day event that gathered thought leaders and experts from the social enterprise sector to offer guidance and advice to aspiring social entrepreneurs.

Stressing the importance of having business knowledge before embarking on a social venture, former chief of staff to José María Figueres, Costa Rica’s former president, Robin Shelley, also advised would-be social entrepreneurs to “find your niche, focus on issues you’re interested in and to travel abroad to get on-the-ground experience”.
