Social Entrepreneurs Who Don’t Self-Define as Social Entrepreneurs

Village Capital announced the winners of the $50,000 prize awarded to social entrepreneurs who don’t “self-define as social  entrepreneurs”. The winners didn’t start out thinking of themselves as social enterprises.

Village Capital hooks up with a lineup of other groups to run about 20 startup accelerators for social enterprises worldwide. With its experiential programs, it aims to harness peer-to-peer support to establish business concepts, calibrate them for success, and invest capital.
