Social Enterprise Delivers Positive Community Impact in Sunderland

New social enterprise, I.M.P.A.C.T Northeast CIC, has moved its headquarters smack dab in Sunderland city. I.M.P.A.C.T is set up at the University of Sunderland’s Enterprise Place and offers services to schools and local communities.

The social enterprise is the brainchild of counselling student Sharon Boyd and developed in hopes of empowering and assisting individuals and families to rise above their daily struggles. Talking about the benefits of the relocation, Sharon said, “Moving into our new premises places us in the heart of the city allowing everyone easy access by public transport.”
