Planting Seeds of Social Investment

Social enterprise An Duong Craft Cooperative  offers jobs and vocational training for women who are poor or HIV-positive, and with disabilities in Vietnam’s Haiphong City.

The social enterprise crafts traditional handicrafts, furniture and fashion for the domestic and export markets. The challenge An Duong faces is how and where to get funding. Now, British council initiatives support the British government’s plan to promote international social investment.
