Influencing Social Good Through Retail

When Hannah Davis   traveled to China to teach English, she noticed how Chinese workers and farmers were often sporting olive green army-style shoes. Those shoes served as her inspiration to create her own social enterprise, Bangs Shoes.

Bangs, derived from a Chinese character which means help, connect customers with nonprofits who focus on areas of long-term development. To date, there are six different color shoes that Bangs produces, each color and shoe represents a different issue that needs to be addressed.
