Influencing Social Good Through Retail

Influencing Social Good Through Retail

When Hannah Davis   traveled to China to teach English, she noticed how Chinese workers and farmers were often sporting olive green army-style shoes. Those shoes served as her inspiration to create her own social enterprise, Bangs Shoes.

Bangs, derived from a Chinese character which means help, connect customers with nonprofits who focus on areas of long-term development. To date, there are six different color shoes that Bangs produces, each color and shoe represents a different issue that needs to be addressed.
