H&M: The Corporate Approach to Water and Sanitation

H&M, the fashion apparel company, has teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to set new standards for water stewardship in the fashion industry.

H&M customers will get to help families in Bangladesh who have limited or no access to clean water and toilets. The company’s philanthropic arm, H&M Conscious Foundation, through WaterAid, will donate the proceeds from every gift card purchase to the poor communities in Bangladesh and provide them access to clean water, sanitation and good hygiene.
