Girls-Aiding Social Business Accelerators To Help Teen Girls Living In Poverty

In partnership with the Unreasonable Group, the Nike Foundation is set to launch the Girl Effect Accelerator this November to help social entrepreneurs whose business startups focus on helping economically disadvantaged adolescent girls.

The Girl Effect accelerator will support innovative businesses from developing countries that help impoverished young girls. The Nike Foundation and The Unreasonable Group will hand-pick 10 business startups, each based in either Africa or India, whose goal is to support adolescent girls earning $2 or less per day. This accelerator will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
