Durham-based Social Enterprises to Receive Centrica-backed Funding

Two social enterprises in Durham, England will land funding from Ignite Social Enterprise, a social investment fund backed by energy giant Centrica.

Car club operator Co-wheels and public health development organization Health Squared are among ten winners of the ‘Big Energy Ideas’ challenge. The two social businesses will be able to score between £50,000 and £2 million in funds.
