Cornwall as First-Ever Rural Social Enterprise Zone

Cornwall, England has been christened as the first-ever rural social enterprise zone. Minister for Civil Society Nick Hurd remarked that what was happening in Cornwall was an example to the rest of the United Kingdom.

A large group of businesses and organizations, including Cornwall College and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership, has herded the Social Enterprise Zone. A popular social enterprise in Cornwall is Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall at Watergate Bay.
