Bloodbath on Biddle: Fear and Philanthropy

Bloodbath on Biddle: Fear and Philanthropy

Dacy Rehding, an orphan who roamed the streets of Wyandotte looking for a playmate until it drove her mad, serves as the inspiration for Bloodbath on Biddle –  this year’s Wyandotte Jaycees haunted house.

Jaycees volunteers stumbled upon a file containing Dacy’s story when exploring the old City Hall building. They knew that Dacy needed to live on. The haunted house is located in the City Hall building terrorized with themes such as “Snow White and the Demented Dwarves” and “Alice and the not-so-Wonderful Land.” The Bloodbath fundraiser’s proceeds will benefit Jaycees community events including Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for the needy, an Easter egg hunt, and a senior spaghetti dinner.
