A Bar That Saves Children’s Lives

A Bar That Saves Children’s Lives

Ryan Devlin, Todd Grinnell and Ravi Patel have traveled to Africa on a humanitarian trip a few years back, encountering children suffering from severe malnutrition get healthy through Plumpy’Nut®.

Plumpy’Nut® is a “miracle supplement”, the supposedly equivalent of penicillin to malnourished kids. Ryan, Todd and Ravi concocted their own wholesome and yummy nutrition bar, and use it to raise awareness funding to fight malnutrition especially in developing countries. Thus, This Bar Saves Lives was born. When a consumer buys a bar, the organization’s nonprofit partner makes a life-saving Plumpy’Nut® food packet and send it to where it’s mostly needed.
