A group of local doctors led a social enterprise, which has garnered a multi-million pound contract to run out-of-hours GP services in Hackney.
The City and Hackney Urgent Healthcare Social Enterprise (CHUHSE) is the social enterprise that removed private company Harmoni, who has previously faced criticisms in some areas of London that it was short staffed’. The team at CHUHSE believe in taking back responsibility in City and Hackney. Their “patients will be better looked after and it will relieve the pressure on local hospitals.”
