Edgar and Joe’s Cafe is a recently opened food-operating space in London, Ontario’s SoHo district. The cafe aims to recruit, train and provide people, especially those who face barriers, access to employment opportunities in the food and hospitality industry and good, healthy food.
The cafe, founded by Dr. Edgar J. Helms in 1902, also serves as a space for Goodwill staff and customers, which intends to contribute to the SOHO neighborhood’s vitality. But, who’s Joe?
