That's the message a South African radio station is trying to convey with its first-of-its-kind youth entrepreneurship program.
Gagasi FM says it teamed up with the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Thompsons Meats to host the first Youth In Business Bootcamp in June, with a panel of business leaders sharing "invaluable insights, strategies, and personal anecdotes aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs with the tools they need to thrive in the competitive business landscape," per a press release.
"It underscored Gagasi FM's commitment to nurturing local talent and fostering a supportive environment for budding entrepreneurs," says Gagasi FM.
"Participants left not only with practical knowledge but also with a strengthened network of peers and mentors, poised to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys."
Gagasi FM says it's the first such program of its kind in South Africa.
