For decades, JERICHO has helped people in Birmingham, England, find work through its social enterprises, including cleaning, construction, laundry, and cooking, the Guardian reports.
Now the nonprofit is looking to expand, and it's teamed up with the CEO of tech company Inspired Thinking Group to do so.
"This collaboration not only honors the charity's 30-year legacy of public service but also sets the stage for a future where social enterprise and technological innovation work hand in hand to tackle societal challenges," JERICHO says in a press release.
As part of the partnership, Inspired Thinking will act as JERICHO's strategic counsel, and the two will work together to expand the charity's services to help more disadvantaged individuals.
"JERICHO has been at the forefront of offering supported employment opportunities to people facing social and economic barriers," Simon Ward says in the press release.
"Through its diverse social enterprises, including cleaning, construction, laundry, and cookery, the charity has successfully facilitated sustainable employment paths for hundreds."
