It's that time of year again: time for New Orleans' annual Entrepreneur Week to kick off.
And this year's theme is "Driving New Orleans' Economic Development," the Times-Picayune reports.
What does that mean? Well, for one thing, it's a celebration of the city's entrepreneurial spirit, with more than 100 sessions and special events featuring business leaders and experts in entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech, according to the event's producer.
What doesn't? It's a chance for residents and visitors to meet face-to-face with local business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as hear about the latest in technology and entrepreneurship.
"It's a great opportunity for people to hear first-hand about the incredible things that are happening in New Orleans," Liz Maxwell, the event's producer, tells the Times-Picayune.
"It's also a great opportunity for people to hear about the amazing things that are happening in New Orleans."
