The winner of the " Entrepreneur of the Year" award at Qatar University's second annual "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Excellence Award for Startups" has gone on to make a name for himself in the world of e-commerce.
The university's Center for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Excellence (CEOE) announced the winners of the 11 categories at the awards ceremony on Sunday, including "Best Startup Company," "Best Emerging Company in Financial Technology," "Social Entrepreneur of the Year," "Best Emerging Company in Educational Technology," "Best Emerging Company in Health Technology," "Best Emerging Company in E-commerce and Delivery," "Best Emerging Company in Deep Technology," "Best Emerging Company in Green Technology," and "Best Entrepreneurship Case Study Award."
The winners will now advance to the finals of the " Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Businesswoman of the Year" categories, as well as the "Best Emerging Company in Financial Technology," "Best Emerging Company in Health Technology," "Best Emerging Company in E-commerce and Delivery," "Best Emerging Company in Deep Technology," and "Best Entrepreneurship Case Study Award" categories, per a release.
