"I don't think I've been able to properly process it," Pippa Moyle says of being named one of Britain's 100 most inspiring female entrepreneurs of 2024.
Moyle, 31, started the City Girl Network in Brighton, England, in 2016 with the local community Brighton Girl to help women find friends and feel more connected to the city, the BBC reports.
The City Girl Network now has 18 communities with more than 120,000 members across the country.
Moyle says she's "had moments where I've wondered if I'm doing the right thing, if this is going to work out or if I'm mad for even trying."
Moyle is also the host of the Brighton Business Show on Radio Reverb, and 44-year-old Lyndsey Clay started Connected Brighton in April 2021 with the mission of connecting people to businesses and businesses to people.
In less than three years, Clay has connected thousands of people and supported hundreds of businesses through Connected Brighton's events.
She has recently turned the business into a franchise to spread their mission nationally.
