A magician, a makeup artist, a neurosurgeon, and a well-known actor were among the winners of India's annual Magic Gems Awards last week, the Times of India reports.
The awards, put on by Jhunjhunwala College in Kalwa, honor people in their 40s who have made "an indelible mark on their respective fields," per the college's website.
Among the winners: Dr.hok Tiwari, a family physician; Dr.mit Aiwale, a neurosurgeon; Dr. Nilesh Chordiya, aurgeon; Mr.Prakash Bhate, the founder of Bharati Chemicals; Mr. Yogesh Sonawane, a magician; celebrity makeup artist Ullesh Khandare; Mr.Rajeev Singh, a marketing influencer; and Mr.Ram Awana, an actor and director.
The runners-up: fashion designer and Mrs.isha Kapila; Mr.Harshal Rane, a multifaceted actor; Mr.Ninad Shetye, a talented writer and casting director; and Mr.Rajeev Joshi, an accomplished writer and journalist, each contributing significantly to the creative industry.
