The New South Wales government's Office of Social Impact Investment has teamed up with five social enterprises to help some 650 women find jobs or start their own businesses.
According to a press release, the plan is to "support around 650 women in NSW to achieve sustained employment or start their own business."
The women are some of the country's most at-risk, with more than half of them living in poverty and more than half of them not working, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
