America's Got Talent runner-up Mandy Harvey lost her hearing at the age of 18.
Now she's hoping to use her fame and fortune to help others.
Harvey, who won the talent show's Golden Buzzer in 2014, has signed a deal with Abundance Studios to produce two films, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The first, Hero, has already been screened and stars America's Got Talent alum Remi Adeleke, America's Got Talent winner Mandy Harvey, and UFC champ Dominick Cruz.
The second, Creatis, will focus on wounded veterans.

"Mr. Gallinger will be an asset to the studio and offer a unique perspective in relation to the films Abundance Studios is creating."
