Nobel Prize-winning Muhammad Yunus is coming to the US for the first time since he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991, the New York Times reports.
Yunus will be the featured speaker at the World Football Summit in Sevilla, Spain, on Sept.
20-21.
According to a press release, the 77-year-old will "shed light on the transformative power of football to foster positive global change."
Yunus is the founder of the Yunus Sports Hub, a non-profit that works with athletes, athletes' families, and business leaders to help them create social businesses.
In addition to his Nobel Prize, Yunus has been awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Congressional Gold Medal.
He is one of only seven people to have received these awards, along with Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, and Nelson Mandela.
