McKenna, who is also an angel investor, was named Europe Female Angel Investor of the Year at an event hosted by Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland and Business Angels Europe in Berlin on July 5, the Irish Times reports.
The next day she was named the British Business Angel Association's overall Angel Investor of the Year 2023 for her "outstanding contributions to the startup ecosystem."
McKennawho was made an MBE in 2014 for her services to digital technology, innovation, and learningsays "these awards are a testament to the incredible work being done by entrepreneurs and angel investors."
