If you're a social entrepreneur in Ireland, you may be in luck: The government is dishing out $1.5 million to support such businesses, the Limerick Post reports.
"Social enterprises in Limerick play a key role in communities and we have seen this throughout the recent Pandemic," says a government official.
"This innovative Scaling-up Scheme for Social Enterprise will provide some much-needed capital support to social enterprises nationwide that will enable them to grow their operations and strengthen their impact on the communities they serve."
The government says up to 30 such businesses will be eligible for funding.
