If you've got a bank account that's been dormant for years, you may be in luck.
The Irish government has announced a ? 1.5 million ($1.7 million) fund to be used by social enterprises that help the poor and disadvantaged, the Guardian reports.
"Our social enterprises play a vital role in communities across the country, as during the recent Pandemic," says Ireland's minister for community development, Heather Humphreys, per the Irish Times.
The funds will be available to "social enterprises that work primarily to improve the lives of people in their customers' communities," Humphreys says.
The government hopes to use the money to expand and strengthen such enterprises.
