The Yale School of Management's Oladiwura Oladepo, a social entrepreneur from Nigeria, is one of five finalists for the 2022 Global Citizen Youth Leadership Award.
The award " acknowledges and rewards extraordinary change-makers who are taking remarkable actions to alleviate severe poverty," per the Yale School of Management website.
Oladepo, who graduated from the Yale School of Management with a master's in advanced management, has worked with several organizations over the years "to promote chances for improved economic livelihoods for young Africans, particularly those in marginalized communities," according to the Yale School of Management website.
A graduate of the Yale School of Management, Oladepo works with Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (DBA Tech4Dev), a nonprofit that has provided over 40,000 Africans with digital and soft skills, including software development, data science, and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and product design.
The 25-year-old also serves on the executive alumni council of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University (the school's highest governing body).
