It's not every day you get the chance to rub elbows with some of the world's most high-profile business leaders, but that's exactly what happened at a recent awards ceremony in Dubai.
At the Next Mastermind Awards 2024, Dr. Mansoor Al Obeidli, president of the UAE's Mastermind Awards, bestowed the Lifetime Achievement Award on Dr. Le Chan of Vietnam, the New York Times reports.
The ceremony, which was held at the Al Habtoor Palace, honored distinguished leaders in business, coaching, and leadership, as well as those who've made an "outstanding achievement that shape the future," according to the event's website.
The Times notes that Chan is the first Vietnamese doctor to receive the award, which is given to those who have made an "outstanding contribution to the fields of medicine, science, technology, engineering, and entrepreneurship," per the ceremony's website.
The ceremony also awarded business leaders such as Dr. Ahmad Al Attas, Ahmed Amwell, and Esam Al Khoori, while the honorary advisory excellence award went to Dr. Nidal Abou Zaki, Dr. Rashad Haddad, and Dr. Ravi Tipparaju.
The ceremony also honored authors such as Alok Kumar
