India's prime minister, Narendra Modi, wants women to take the lead in all aspects of the country's economy, from education to health care, and he's putting his money where his mouth is, the Times of India reports.
In a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Modi said he'd like to see women take the lead in every aspect of the economy, from politics to sports, and he'd like to see them account for 17% of the country's GDP by 2024, up from the current estimate of 17%.
