When Robert Keith moved back to his family's ranch in Cody, Wyoming, he made the decision to stop commuting to coastal regions for work and instead founded Beartooth Group, a conservation investment firm, to support ranchers and their communities.

Keith, who has a degree in economics from Yale and a business degree from Stanford, says environmental stewardship can be synonymous with financial gains.
In an Investing in Impact podcast, he explains that Beartooth works with ranchers, owners, investors, and buyers to restore and steward the lands, waters, and wildlife of the American West.

"We're trying to create a resilient cattle industry in the West," Keith says.
