Canadian immigrant magazine Canadian Immigrant has released its 15th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards, and this year's list includes an Oscar-nominated film star, a singer-songwriter, a Canadian football MVP, and a Syrian refugee who founded a refugee organization.
The magazine calls the winners "an incredible engine of growth across Canada, contributing in so many ways to our society."
