The Baroness Barran MBE is the UK government's minister for civil society.
She says there is "quite a lot of work" going on about social investment behind the scenes in government.
But she won't reveal much more than that about her plans for social investment in the UK.
She is keen to emphasise the opportunities offered by the latest big funding programmes, the 4bn Levelling Up Fund and Shared Prosperity Fund.
