Social Entrepreneur Catches Waste of Opportunity

Steven Cornish, founder of aimwith, based in Silicon Valley, CA, is a social equity marketplace for impact where crowdfunders, impact investors, and charitable organizations invest in change together.

Cornish visited Lusaka, Zambia in August 2013 to examine the challenges of improving waste management. His discovery is documented in new film, “Waste of Opportunity” to raise awareness and capital to impart into Lusaka’s waste management.  The waste management effort in Lusaka is aimwith’s first crowdfunding project, and will provide funding and work with local Zambian social enterprise, Neighbour’s Friend.
