World Wildlife Fund Participates in Google Glass Philanthropy Initiative

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) participated in Google’s Giving Through Glass program last fall. The program is designed to explore how nonprofits can use Google Glass to further their social causes.

WWF, one of the world’s leading environmental organizations, has taken the Glass to places like the Arctic and the Amazon, and most recently to Nepal to test out a new Glass-specific app (“Glassware”) that could aid researchers in collecting critical data on rhinos and sharing it among fellow researchers.
