Social Enterprise Blooms for Good Cause

Hope Blooms is a social enterprise comprising of young entrepreneurs from north-end Halifax, Canada. It started as a community garden where  students planted seeds and tended crops in an abandoned property in their neighborhood.

During harvest, the students turn their produce into a line of organic salad dressings which are sold at the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market. Hope Blooms’ portion of the sales goes to a scholarship fund to aid students in their educational expenses.
