Leicester Social Enterprise Guides Future Generations To Deliver Sustainable, Environmental Impact

Bina Sitaram, a 40-year old former senior garment technician in the fashion industry, has created a social enterprise that affords young students lessons in healthy living by holding gardening, cooking and arts and crafts sessions.

The idea for her social enterprise, Earth Buds, started in the autumn of 2011 when her daughter’s nursery was teaching their pupils about harvesting. Bina left her career and sought a way of transforming her idea of teaching children about the environment and growing their own produce into a business.
