GoldieBox Disrupts the Pink Aisle Through Music Video

GoldieBox, a toy company founded by Stanford engineer Debbie Sterling, has launched a video that has garnered more than 6 million views to date. The video shows three young girls demonstrating their inventive power by constructing a Rube Goldberg machine.

Sterling, through her toy company, is set to “disrupt the pink aisle” of pink dolls and princesses, and open the world of engineering to young girls. The song in the video, a rewritten version of the Beastie Boys’ “Girls”, is rapped by an 8-year-old girl.
