Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver Backs Social Saturday

UK will be celebrating its first national celebration of social enterprises dubbed as Social Saturday. World famous celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who founded the Fifteen restaurant chain.

Oliver supports the effort, saying, “When we opened Fifteen 12 years ago, it was the first quality social enterprise of its kind. Every £1 we invest [at Fifteen] results in £9.50 of social value and seeing the apprentices graduate, start their career and really make something of themselves makes you realize just how important an investment it really is.”
